A fost construit\u0103 dup\u0103 modelul bisericilor maramure\u015fene aflate \u00een patrimoniul UNESCO, iar ctitorul ei este preotul paroh Grigore Lu\u0163ai. Acesta spune c\u0103 din cuno\u015ftinele sale nu exist\u0103 o alt\u0103 biseric\u0103 din lemn mai \u00eenalt\u0103. <em><strong>\u201dEste unic\u0103 prin m\u0103rimea ei, prin \u00een\u0103l\u0163ime.
